Just recently got the P1S. You're right about the screen not being the greatest, but personally, I've hardly really had to interact with it as I mainly use the android app or Bambu Studio to do all all my adjustments/jobs anyway.
There are mods to add an additional screen to the P1S that'll get ya close to the X1C's level of functionality, but as far as benefit/usefulness in my opinion; not worth the effort involved other than to just /do something/ for the sake of doing it. (Which I may end up doing anyway, because I like to tinker with things :p ) .

Is that a per-app thing that can be done in Mint? Pretty much only get tearing in firefox when playing video, and I tried the 'layers.acceleration.force-enabled true' setting in about:config for firefox, but that didn't really make a difference.

I'm thinking its either nvidia on linux being nvidia on linux, or it not liking mixed resolutions and refresh rates. But really the only noticeable tearing I get is in firefox when playing video like youtube or something.

Made the switch this weekend :) From Win 11 to Mint 22. Haven't run into any real issues really. I have the occasional screen tear on some videos in firefox though. Haven't searched around enough yet to figure that out, but otherwise all good.

Pretty cool idea, I wanna see what they looked like primed :)
Finished up my Knight in my Grey Knights color scheme/finish. Whole things is magnetized like crazy. Can swap out the masks, banners, shield, all the weapons, etc. Also magnetized the wrist joint on the fist so I could rotate it. I wanted to use the whole dang kit! (Including Sir Hekhtur) :) Strung up a few LEDs to illuminate it. Rocks (made from wood chips from my yard lol) hide LEDs to shine up at the banner and chest. If/when I get brave enough, I'll attempt painting text :p LEDs in the cockpit are fed through bare ethernet wire I strung down the sides and into the legs ([WIP post](https://lemmy.world/post/6982494)). If anyone has any suggestions for a micro LED, I'd like to tuck one behind the head and have it backlight through the face masks.

Mostly terminators and a strike squad and purifier squad finished. Have Kaldor Draigo and Crowe as well. Waiting on Captain Stern fine cast to come in from GW through their made-to-order thing when it was available at the time x.x
Some boxy Dreadnoughts and regular Dreadknights too.

Apparently not, tried logging into lemmy.world with Chrome and Firefox, get json errors when trying to upload any images (as a post or in a comment/reply)
I keep getting generic 'failed to upload image' errors when trying to do image posts or post images in comments. My account is logged into lemmy.world, is there a way to see any more details about the errors? I can't figure out why they keep failing. Different formats, etc too. **Update** I think I figured it out, appears to be an issue with file size. Haven't nailed down if it's an issue with resolution or file size, but I've been sticking with 1mb or less and less than 2048x2048 and things have been working out so far. Thank you for the help/replies :)

Knight I've been working on and off for a little while now. Arms, weapons, face mask, hatch and shield piece and hanging banner will be magnetized. Wanting to maximize that kit lol. Some interior LED lights, blue kind of gets blown out in the camera. Exposed copper wire run down the legs (can see it on the left leg; will be hidden by armor) and will be passed into and under the base. Plan to have the connector/batt be removable so I can just hook up the lights when I want to display them. update: [finished Knight post](https://lemmy.world/post/10557552)
