Subscribed to both of them. Also to the Grimdank offshoot we have. Very much enjoy all of them.

Didn’t try posting lore or excerpts tho. Might try it when I come across something cool!

I feel you. Really miss 40klore and an endless stream of bunny pictures. The only two things I miss on Lemmy. Everything else I care about arrived or is arriving.

People understand they can just leave that site, right?

I gave up on the show after the second season. Which is weird because I loved the first one. It’s Altered Carbon all over again. May it rest in piss.

It’s not necessarily weeb shit. Weeb shit can be cool sometimes.

It’s that moe shit or whatever it is called. For every single one I block 5 more pop up.

  • VDV experiences further budget cuts
  • rustyfish rustyfish Now 100%

During the Cold War soviets experimented with dropping soldiers from helicopters into snow. Without a rope or parachute. Just jump and pray. Went as smooth as you imagine. There is also that legend which almost certainly happened, but there aren’t any records of it. In one occasion during WW2 Russian paratroopers have been deployed from a plane from low altitude without parachutes. Again on snow. And only a third of them died.

Now, this has been denied by the soviets. But if we look at what else the Kremlin has said over the last century, we can safely assume that it absolutely happened.

  • Calls grow in Germany to ban far-right AfD
  • rustyfish rustyfish Now 69%

A ban is incredibly hard. Not impossible, but hard. And even if, it won't solve the actual problem. The AfD maintained the image of a protest party and to this day people believe this crap. A great way to cut their votes in half would be educating the population so they understand that protest is good but voting for fascist scum is not.

  • The games industry is undergoing a 'generational change,' says Epic CEO Tim Sweeney: 'A lot of games are released with high budgets, and they're not selling'
  • rustyfish rustyfish Now 100%

Ok. Interesting take. Let’s look at Alan Wake 2. High Budget and pretty good. One of the best games I played in recent years I would say.

And why did it sell poorly, I hear you ask? Well, maybe it had something to do with the fact that you published it on your Epic Store only, being fully aware that the overwhelming majority of PC players are on Steam (and very lazy when it comes to switching away from it). Also you didn’t produce physical copies for consoles. Download only for an environment known for being fiercely pro physical copy.

But we all know it’s not about these things. It’s about calming down investors. That’s why you use buzzwords like “metaverse” and shit. I am actually impressed you didn’t ramble about AI.

Reminds me of the greatest of all UFO channels I found on YouTube. Guy recorded a military plane landing. Describing “If you look hard enough you see small, disc like objects harassing the plane! There are aliens in broad daylight!” Those “objects” were insects flying in front of his camera.

Was his channel a single giant shitpost? Maybe.

Do I respect him more than anyone who tries to lecture me about camera footage quality at night? Absolutely.

    Beautiful bastard.
