Eh nothing really, but if you don't have a Ventoy set up and you just need an image burned it's more convenient to just use balena or something else.

The reason it's windows only is because they're using denuvo, which doesn't work on Mac/Linux
EDIT: huh theyre gonna forego denuvo on Mac/Linux weirdly. I'm sure that won't be a waste of resources on their part.

ventoy is nice in that I can just dump ISOs to a single USB and take it around, but balena is one of many boot media tools that's useful if you need a single ISO for a system - fast.

There are definitely a few active factions in Iraq that are taking military actions against Israel. One drone bombing killed two IDF officers yesterday, and they regularly send drones over Eilat.
The official word will be to keep schtum and hope things blow over though.

I did some very light reading into the red army and it does appear that it relied on conscription throughout. A lot of the army and its officers especially were former tsarists following the end of Russia's involvement in WW1, but the bulk of the front line units were conscripts.
It's one of the realities of a modern nation-state in wartime, but I agree that a system of government more representative of its people is more likely to be cooperative with whatever system of military it relies on.

Hmmm yeah nah. most Israelis are supportive of rape against Palestinians, supportive of the war in Gaza, Supportive of the wider Zionist project.
They're protesting against the consequences of their actions.

Steam subscriber agreement removed a clause that forces individual arbitration instead of court.
Before this you couldn't sue and this couldn't do a class action, but law firms decided to just file thousands of arbitration clauses at once which cost like $1500 each to valve no matter who wins.
Valve then decided to change the SSA (whilst trying to retroactively kill outstanding arbitration cases with another clause) to save them money.
If you're in the EU, UK, AUS, or a bunch of other countries this never applied to you and you could take valve to court in your own country.

Brilliant stuff. We need independence from Valve as much as Valve needs independence from Windows. This will only benefit all of us in the long run

Israel-US were using the peace negotiations as an attempt to read the resistances's war fatigue. But because Israel has disproportionately attacked civilians, they took willingness for peace as a sign that Hamas and Hezbollah were under more attrition than reality.
Fast forward to now, and not only has Israel vastly underestimated the fighting strength and coordination of Hezbollah's front line forces, but Hamas are recovering from combat losses and taking on ambitious raids on the enemy in open daylight.
The iron dome has all but collapsed, with drones from Yemen and Iraq easily penetrating airspace over Tel Aviv. Haifa's industrial complexes are taking daily rocket barrages, and the US is exhausting interceptor reserves at quadruple the rate necessary to replace them.
Israel can continue fighting for years at this rate, but they have made a historic and fatal error in not taking peace when it was beneficial to them, on the chauvinist assumption that "final victory" was just one last operation away.

The way I see it is, out of both 100% Hitler's, one is too chicken shit to do anything that'll potentially hurt his fortune, and the other is actively escalating the world towards existential conflict because Israel's right to kill kids is worth more than any of their shares in Raytheon.
He just doesn't give a fuck about Zionism since he doesn't think it benefits his wallet. That to me is way less harmful than a democrat who'll press the big red button after buying a coexist sticker to place on it (after furiously crossing out the crescent moon of course)

GOOD post. I follow a bunch of Palestinian-aligned outlets and some of them are blatant Turkish state propaganda at times. The axis against Kurdish autonomy (and against the revolution in North Eastern Syria) are no different to the axis of collaborators with Israel
So I've done 3D modelling in 3DS Max and I'm currently learning blender, and I'm beginning to look at creating more detailed models and learning about stuff such as managing topology. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEj1uHSu1Bw I've noticed in videos such as this, instead of merging the meshes together and managing the topology of each detail/element, the modeller just creates a new mesh. Is this right? Or is there some benefit to combining these details into one "monolithic" mesh and then fixing any topology issues. Is there much performance or other downside to creating multiple separate meshes like in the video? Am I overthinking this?
Classic video from 2018 by @NeighborDemocracy. Not sure how the material conditions have changed since then, though this was shortly after the invasion of Afrin canton by Turkish forces.
If youve used Prowlarr, you might have experienced cloudflare blocking access to certain trackers. There's a docker-based solution called cloudsolverr which automatically bypasses these cloudflare challenges by spinning up a headless chromium browser. Main issue is it's heavy on resources (I have an rpi4b) and doesn't have an easy native setup (I've not had time to practice with docker stuff yet). Is there a manual way for me to resolve these cloudflare challenges so I can add the trackers? It's mainly for public shit like 1337x just to fill out my access to TV shows where my other trackers fail or get rate-limited.
Incredibly impressive for a platform that hasn't even hit Debian stable yet. This is using box64, an ARM/RISCV translation layer for x86 apps on Linux, not unlike "Rosetta" on MacOS.
