I don't get pools.
I'm not talking about the large public pools half filled with piss, I'm talking private home pools that are probably too small for exercise swimming. It uses so much resources and space, and for what? So you can have an extra gimmick at parties? Bourgeois decadence.

Not sure about the OP specifically, but the Democracy Index by The Economist is a thing that political science people believe in. I've met a PhD who does.

Due to flagrant disrespect toward institutions and general lack of decency in this thread, I have decided to lower Hexbear's liberal democracy index by 0.2 points. Consider this a warning.

Never played it so I don't know. The extra cache on the x3d cpus makes a big difference in some games and a few applications, but no difference in others.

probably something else for AMD
Maybe due to the 9000 series being lackluster so far. They're expensive and the 7800X3D is still top performer in games.
It's incredible how bad Intel squandered their dominant position in recent years. I wonder if Nvidia will ever shit the bed like that.

The 7800X3D. This is the only time I've ever splurged on a computer, but then again I'll probably keep it for 10 years like I did with the previous one I had.

Bought my computer half a year ago thinking I was being a bit hasty what with the next CPU gen right around the corner and all. But now when I check in on the state of the market, the price would actually be higher if I bought the same computer today

Kenshi 2 looks promising
I found it funny that I've been tinkering with mods and settings, unsuccessfully trying to get the game to run at all on Windows, but then it started up right away on Epic Games Store through Lutris. Now I just gotta figure out how to cap the frame rate. e: found an fps limiter on nexus mods, now everything works perfectly! Previously I had a similar experience where Far Cry 1 wouldn't run on any Windows newer than XP, but worked perfectly on Linux.
I'd do it for $5 if I could wash my hands immediately after. Otherwise I'd charge a lot more, depending on circumstances.
1. No more need for toilets. With today's housing prices, the sqm price of an apartment has reached exorbitant levels. Currently, toilets take chunk of that space. They use a lot of water too. 2. No more need to leave your bedroom to take a crap, wasting precious time that you could be using to contribute to the economy (or gaming). In that sense, it's kinda like ordering food instead of making it yourself. 3. Street cleaner demand would explode, further helping the struggling economy. There would be a massive demand for street cleaners to wash away all the thrown out feces. You might think hiring a bunch of extra cleaners would be a burden, but it would surely be offset by the reduced load on sewage treatment plants from people not having toilets to flush.
People pay money for shit like this
Alternatively :not-ludwig-van: but people might struggle finding that
