Honestly if it was something expensive we'd all be complaining about the company wasting money on it. The answer should really be putting money towards what people care about, increasing compensation.

hair extending below the eyebrows, ear lobes or top of a T-shirt collar, according to the student handbook. Additionally, hair on all students must be clean, well-groomed, geometrical and not an unnatural color or variation. The school does not require uniforms.
I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that any hair that is 'relatively long', 'not geometrical', or 'unnatural color or variation' is "clearly part of black culture."
I can agree that its enforcement, if selective, could be considered racist, but it doesn't seem to be written to target any particular culture.

I agree with you kind soul. Some days this place seems like a toxic cesspool. You better not have a viewpoint that is even barely contrary to the this general populace's.

I appreciate the discourse, my only intent with my comment was to give a perspective as to how operationally safe it is. That is not to say I would be alright with being in the Reactor Compartment while it was operational, that would lead to certain and painful death.
I haven't really considered the relative environmental impact of the extraction, refinement, removal, and waste management of nuclear fuel and how that compares to other alternatives like coal or gas. I would suspect that carbon emissions from that process are significantly more.
I would however expect that the environmental impact is significantly less for the other items on your list like transportation and more specifically operation.
You do seem to be pretty aware of the state of energy research, do you happen to have any recommended papers to take a look at that might shed some light on the overall environmental impacts of nuclear and how they compare to the current alternatives?

When I was on nuclear submarines I got less radiation than a single flight on an aircraft. And you gotta know there were less-than-secret competitions on who could rack up the most mrem. Could never get close to significant.

i am having some interesting modem issues. upgraded from the 14 pro to the 15 pro, i was running ios 17 since the update last monday and didn’t notice anything odd. that being said my 15 pro connection is pretty solid on wifi, so i would normally say you should just wait it out for an update but in this case, assuming you are already running iOS 17.0.2. i would text apple support/visit a store to see if you can get a replacement.

saw a vid with drop tests and then end result was that due to the curved glass, there are more instances where a corner drop lands on glass instead of rail. you slap literally any case on it and it should be fine for regular drops. that being said i always go with monthly AC+ and theft insurance, because i don’t want to be bothered having to worry about it. just walk into the store, show them the screen and they take care of it.
Looking forward to more Shutdown! https://www.ea.com/games/battlefield/battlefield-2042/news/battlefield-briefing-development-update-august-2023

I just updated and noticed some more 'get/hit' lines, repeated the command and there are now only 'hit'. Can anyone explain this process a bit? My apologies if this is a dumb question.
