I just looked and I also got 2,2gb. Which seems like a lot to me, but I'm also using primarily liftoff - and I'm a heavy user (gotta fuel my addiction since reddit became a no no)

In the Direct (and other footage) we've seen quite a collection of different weapon types and ways to engage combat. Pistols, rifles, shotguns (and the different ammo types), melee weapons, fists, a couple of shots showed a dev playing primarily with explosives. What kind of weapons are you planning on using? Often times I try to stick to one/two weapons (depending on the game and skill-system), but I can see myself at least trying out every different kind I find on my first playthrough :D What about you? Oh, I just noticed I forgot about space combat - tough I'm not too sure if it makes any difference in gameplay, or if it's more a "use weapon type X to attack their defensive element Y" until you can board/destroy/whatever?

I mean, I love the TLA franchise, but after watching the trailer... I don't know. Doesn't make me very optimistic, if I'm honest.

Damn, 10 minutes ago I commented on not pre-ordering. Now I'm struggling myself, lol. This looks very good, and from all the tiny tidbits you can see, they overhauled the RPG systems (weapon stats, perks/attributes).

To add to this:
The only thing you're getting by pre-ordering is a car. If you're paying the game normally, you'll end up with a plethora of cars and bikes already, so you're not really missing out on anything special. (which, tbh, is decent on CDPR for not banking on huge FOMO)
You can always wait for the release and look up reviews and (more importantly) first hand player experiences on here/reddit/youtube/wherever you consume gaming media, to avoid spending money on a potentially subpar product.
Just a disclaimer: I'm also very much hyped for the DLC, and plan on getting it day one (if all goes well), but I'll wait for reviews and impressions first. :)

Ich hab dieses Jahr angefangen, Tabouleh zu kochen - im Grunde musst du nur den Bulgur kochen (ca. 8min) und alles andere kleingeschnitten am Ende dazugeben. Ist eher ein kaltes Gericht, wie ein Salat, aber extrem lecker und einfach zuzubereiten.
Ich habe auch irgendwann angefangen, das Rezept unorthodox abzuändern, etwa Basilikum statt Minze und dafür mehr Tomaten, und anderes Gemüse nach belieben einfügen oder eben weglassen. Bisschen Soja Joghurt rein ist auch ziemlich lecker :D
Edit: lol, hab Bulgur mit CousCous verwechselt. Ich vertauschen aber sowieso immer alle Getreidearten 😅
In case anybody cares about the game (I personally think it has an interesting foundation, at least), or is just in it for the memes (or the chance of winning an Xbox controller?) the Redfall Twitter account just announced a stream later today at 3:30pm EST - which will be when this post is roughly 3 hours old. To further stay in topic: did you play Redfall? How bad did it hit you? Or were you maybe among those, who found genuine fun? Also, they recently released their first bigger patch - I didn't have the time to check it out yet, maybe you did? Discuss in the comments! :D Edit: some further points to discuss: Check your hopium, but what do you expect? Meaningful updates about the future of the game? I just deleted the app on my phone and installed via the apk. Works fine now! I had some trouble signing back onto my account, but I guess that was because of high traffic on my instance

I love to see a more "hands on" approach for the students, especially in science based subjects. I feel like these would be best suited for younger students, tough. :)
I personally only used the classics - paper cards, posters, etc., but also digital resources, like whiteboards, presentations, etc. Worked for me alright. 😅
A former colleague used specific card sets with illustrations (ex. emotions, activities, etc.) as extra impulses during classes.

What are you picking up, what do you recommend or what are you waiting on to go on sale before picking up? Just want to start a friendly discussion :) Also, I'm posting the xbdeals.net page, because I personally think it's more usable than the Microsoft store (also shows historic pricing, metacritic score and other useful stuff!). So, if that's not allowed or I should rather post official MS pages, I'll try to adapt. I just skipped through the deals and saw that the Dark Souls games are on sale again - if you waited on this, now seems to be the time to strike! :D

Zwecks Content Produktion wollte ich hier mal ne Umfrage zu den besten Milchalternativen starten. :D Grundsätzlich trinke ich jede, die günstigsten Soja-/Haferbasierten reichen mir für so ziemlich alles aus (Kaffe, Grundlage für Saucen, etc.). Wenn es aber etwas mehr "milchig" im Geschmack sein soll, bin ich Acer mich ein Fan von der Shhmilch von Alpro - damit geht Müsli einfach am besten. Wie sieht das bei euch aus? Oder gibt es noch andere Vorschläge für andere Anwendungen? :)
Hey! I hope this kind of post is allowed. If not, I'll remove it, obviously. I've seen many complaints/suggestions that jerboa opens all links to Lemmy-instances in the standard browser. Which, granted, I don't know how long it would take to fix it/implement it as a feature. So, as I've stated in the title, I discovered some kind of work around! If you see someone dropping a link for an instance, try opening their profile and look into their comments and posted, whether they posted in said channel. Chances are high (at least for the ones I tried) that they posted there already. So you could open the instance directly in the app by tapping on its name above the post/comment. I realize that this will not work on every occasion, but at least right now most people who plug a channel seem to be a moderator or at least somewhat active in it. So, until we get an easier way, try looking through the posters profile! :) Also, if you also know of different work-arounds feel free to share! :D
