Ohhh the calathea. It’s horrible. We had a few of them and it was never “ good enough “ for them. When I gave up they came back to life. Sure heating stuff in plastic doesn’t sounds good but storing in plastic.. I can hardly imagine the plastic to just dissolve into to the food. Especially if the food is solid.

Still interested if somebody has a solid source for this.

Do you have a source for this? Can hardly imagine putting leftovers in a tupperware style container will get microplastics in the food. Unless your scraping it like a wildman with utensils.

I’ve just got a Landrover Defender 2023 (75th) and was so glad is just had buttons for everything. I had a touch screen but other than navigation no need to touch it. Even optional analog dials instead of digital.

Was looking at the van equivalent of the new mercedes (v-class) but same ipad horror on the inside. Glad some brand are reversing this silly phase.

And was long time BMW driver before that but I quit 5 series before electric and the hideous grills. Such a shame.

Yes not hard to get it back in shape again.

• Clean it up and put a few cm (inch whatever) of peanut or other high temp oil in. No olive oil!
• And put it on high blazing fire for about 10-15 min or so.

This will fume a bit so keep a window open. But the looks and non stick quality will be completely restored .
