Communities here are largely influenced and based on already existing communities on Reddit. I was subscribed to r/fuckcars there until I dropped reddit completely, but they have a pretty straightforward page explaining their beliefs and opinions about cars and replacing them with various different more efficient transportation methods.
Secondly... Your comment wasn't hated, so I don't know where those "angry car haters" come from.
No one actually thinks that you can replace cars entirely, but making more space FOR PEOPLE on the streets and making public transportation more comfortable and more affordable - is only a positive.

Hi everyone! Recently I installed LineageOS 20 on my Pixel 5 and I'm really liking it so far, however I found out that Google Pay doesn't work on Custom ROMs, and no matter what I do (MagiskHide props, Universal SafetyNet Fix, DenyList etc) - I just can't pass this check and use Google Wallet. If any of you know additional ways of passing it, please let me know. Don't really want to lose the convenience of contactless payments. Thanks!

Really interested in how the 90hz display holds up. I'm not playing games or anything so I don't care about the performance in GPU heavy tasks, however I expect for the system to run flawlessly 95%+ of the time, including some 3rd party apps like Telegram YouTube (primarily ReVanced).

Was looking into buying Pixel from Backmarket as well! How was your experience with them and their phones?
Hey guys, I'm looking into buying a refurbished Google Pixel 5 (I have couple of options between amazon and other stores), however I'm not entirely sure about the longevity of a refurbished phone. Positive reviews are often left by people who just bought the phone, but most of the negative reviews I found were from people who used it for more than couple of months and it concerns me. Price is good, I'm looking specifically into a Pixel 5 because of the size which is much smaller than my Galaxy Note 9 that I find really uncomfortable to use. Thank you!

Hey guys! So, following up my previous [post](https://lemmy.world/post/92756) about the Jerboa icon, I've made new logo as well. I think I will continue working on it, but for the meantime, that's how it looks.  I modified existing lemmy logo, couldn't get longer ears though, wouldn't look right or it would resemble rabbit too much. Added a little tail as well because Jerboas have a really long one, and it looks cute. Main inspiration was [Apollo icon](https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.iosicongallery.com%2Ficons%2Fapollo-for-reddit-2019-03-27%2F&psig=AOvVaw35pTsp6hgTmefxbcLBwacG&ust=1686868198251000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CBEQjRxqFwoTCNDn1-_nw_8CFQAAAAAdAAAAABAE), it looks really neat. I think I would like to improve upon the background and maybe change color palette to be more bright, but I want to hear what you think.
Wanted to ask you something. How do you feel about reposting from reddit, either posts that I have saved over the time of using it or "crossposting" manually to have more content here?
