This place is known for both their price and portion size. I generally get two meals out of a single $30 sandwich.
Regardless of how popular the place is with tourists, it is still a classic.
And, bonus: if the line is too long you can just go to Russ and Daughters a block away and grab a pastrami lox bagel (see attached).

I used to agree with this statement, but I'm no longer that sure.
I built a new PC a week ago, installed windows first then Linux. The idea was that I needed Windows for gaming.
Thought I'd try proton + Steam, regardless, just to see how it stacks up.
No performance difference. HDR works through gamescope. The window manager of the DE isn't insane and I can alt tab around my OS without problem.
Pretty good stuff. Still have windows for work and Valorant, but otherwise I play all my games on Linux these days. The only part that's lacking, in my opinion, is hot plugging controllers. Annoying that that doesn't work.

Are you using proton experimental?

I agree that Pitchford is a dick, but I sincerely disagree about the art style comments: I don't think it's morally correct to "copyright" (or, reworded: claim exclusivity of) art styles, especially in this context.
I think the two works are completely independent, and Gearbox being inspired by the short film is completely appropriate.
Anything else would be no different (in my opinion) than cases like Roger Dean (the cover artist for Yes' early albums) suing James Cameron for the floating islands in Avatar.
It's not stealing to be inspired by someone else.

Here's a link to the Wikipedia article of Reddit - it mentions the protests that ensued after her firing.
Here's a good r/OutOfTheLoop post about her.
Edit: Let's round off our coverage of Victoria with a Snopes article about her firing.

A rather infamous Reddit employee/administrator who's generally regarded as being responsible for the Golden aga of IAMA on Reddit (as she personally vetted and brought in some big name AMAs).
She was let go, which was one of the first instances of Reddit's foray into the realm of anti-community bullshit.

DHCP as in it's an ethernet connection to a residential router that provides the device with connectivity details.
Normally this isn't considered as secure as a bad actor can cut the power or connecting cables (e.g. If you're using dsl) to kick your system offline.
And, yeah, my old security system absolutely had an old 2G/EDGE modem to connect and send basic signals (as a fallback, in case of the above power cutting scenario). Was great.

It's bizarre.
In my last apartment, I literally had to fight to get a DHCP/ethernet + EDGE (yes, really) connection installed.
They kept asking me why I want two 😅

Those responses on Twitter are surprisingly wholesome. Sucks that there was a leak, but I doubt it'll affect the launch much.
Really hoping this'll be a great game; fingers crossed.

If you don't want to pre-order, don't. But don't just assume that the cancelation of a playtest means the game is broken.
Announcing they've gone gold, two months prior to launch, is surely to assuage doubts that the game is being rushed or incomplete.
It's the correct move, and shows that they believe in their product. Hopefully it isn't a deception.
Genuinely hope this one turns out great, as I loved the first game.

That's not what "going gold" means.
It means that they've completed development and are prepping their final release CDs/builds.
Functionally, it means development has stopped because the dev team has deemed it complete enough for physical release builds.

Made some pan pizza, the other day. Followed [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-srfPL5CWZs) recipe, with some added Napoli Salame on top. Note: The white sauce is some home made ranch dressing. As the crust is covered in caramelized cheese/frico, I enjoy dipping it into a special sauce. Edit: Used the leftover tomato juice for a bloody mary, which is in the glass next to the pizza. (Dunno if the mods were planning on making episode discussion posts themselves, or if we're free to make these sorts of posts - let me know if you want me to take it down!) ::: spoiler spoiler But, yeah - what a great episode! Laszlo reprising his role as someone helping another member of the gang, Guillermo slowly realizing how much Nandor cares, the ramifications of Guillermo's sweat being - ostensibly - Vampire sunscreen... Not to mention everything about Colin's antics - including the mid-credits scene. ::: ...probably my favorite episode of the season, so far! So good. Thoughts?
