"During the cold war, the anticommunist ideological framework could transform any data about existing communist societies into hostile evidence. If the Soviets refused to negotiate a point, they were intransigent and belligerent; if they appeared willing to make concessions, this was but a skillful ploy to put us off our guard. By opposing arms limitations, they would have demonstrated their aggressive intent; but when in fact they supported most armament treaties, it was because they were mendacious and manipulative." -Michael Parenti

Seriously! all because i got inspired to re-create this background while replaying A Link To The Past! ![lenin-disguise](https://hexbear.net/pictrs/image/283a7850-c9fa-4d7d-a629-91e9b9712bcb.png "lenin-disguise") well time to go to bed, i hope you guys like it!
seriously, i just finished watching it, i have my criticisms which seem to fall in line with some others have made (i.e. drawn out etc.) but overall the film was great in the sense of being a film, i did not however feel great after watching it, i needed answers. its not the scariest movie ever but the implications and situation in general are very depressing and kinda stick in your head 9/10 :concerned-confusion: watch in the right headspace but also don't watch if youre squeamish about bad things happening to (very) young kids
as stated above, a hauntlogy community would be greatly appreciated by myself and likely by others interested in the topics hauntology covers, we could use it to trade literature regarding nostalgia and how it relates to our mental state in this late-capitalist society. just some thoughts, i would really appreciate the creation of this. thank you regardless. :salute
Hideo even mentions Mao's Protracted People's War and i just feel fuzzy when i listen to this :smi
