You’re right, it’s pretty shady. we need people running this place that arent shady. There is way less to moderate here. No reason to have that many if they cant be trusted.

Open moderation log is a great feature. Still not sure of any way to use that to actually help though. It seems like if we dont like something theres actually nothing to be done about it. If we can't have different mods, there should be a system of openly appealing and disagreeing with mod decisions

That all seems like good steps. But this isnt "certain actions people dont like" You did direct betrayal of trust with the bans and shadow bans. You are not following the courage of your convictions.

That sub is dead. What I WANT is for this place to not have the same mods. Because you've shown zero proof that you wont do this all over again if lemmy suddenly asks you to.

the sub mods said they DID shadowban people. So that must be an old rule. mods can definitely shadowban now on reddit.

o yes. Its happened to a bunch of subs Ive been in before. Reddit starts snooping around and replacing mods and then BAM, it becomes antiwork

Im so tired of hearing this. ALL I FUCKING DO IS GO OUTSIDE. I just want a place where after a day of community building and struggling against the capitalist hellscape, i can relax and chill and read some communist posts from others, without having to believe the mods are working against us and secretly purging people.
