Hi, I made a guard community [/c/astramilitarum](astramilitarum@lemmy.world) and wanted to advertise here if there are any guard enthusiasts among you. Its mostly been me so far and I post what I can or find interesting but hopefully some aspiring generals will come along

Yet to play a game. A bit disappointed from listbuilding aspect because of set unit costs. This almost always forces you to take specific loadouts on units instead of balancing between cost and effectiveness/purpose.
Points changes as [new value (cost change)] ------ * Basilisk 135 (+25) * Deathstrike 160 (+25) * Field Ordnance Battery 120 (+20) * Manticore 125 (+20) * Wyvern 110 (+20) ------ Pretty rough for our artillery overall, they were a bit underpriced so its reasonable imo. Do not understand upping FOB price, those were not competitive even at a 100...
I decided to make a Marshall for my troops. Kitbashed a mask to the commissar and will probably run as either commissar or marshall depending on the game.
