How do you use the swiping to up/downvote effectively?

It's something I can probably get used to, but I think the things you've lined out would make a lot smoother for me to use. I do get some occasional accidental swipes too, so maybe increasing the distance or the threshold for what counts as a "swipe" might reel a bit better. Like I said, I do love the app so far and intend to keep using it! Keep up the good work!

  • Maybe it's just me but the swiping to up/downvote is incredibly frustrating to use. I find myself accidentally downvoting often. My other issue is that the votes don't register immediately, so most of the time I can't tell whether I didn't swipe far enough or if it didn't register yet and end up probably swiping 5 times before giving up. Am I using it wrong? Are there plans to allow for buttons in the future? Otherwise I am really digging the client. Would like it if the community name was highlighted in a different color when scrolling all too, but otherwise it's great!

First time I've seen Joey mentioned during this whole debacle, but it's been my choice for as long as I've had an android too

The setting you linked shows the sorting for posts, but not for comments, correct? I was specifically talking about comments

Yeah, I see those options on the web app, but I don't see them on Jerboa. Am I missing something?

  • It seems like there is no order to it, and there doesn't appear to be any way to change it? I would like to sort by "top"

The domain doesn't have anything to do with what is hosted behind it, generally speaking. Any normal website could use .world or .social if they wanted to but they're uncommon
