Tbh, I want my memes with sources. and this one is strange...

https://civilizationchronicles.com/roman-engineering-and-mathematics/ claims that mathmatics were essensial to roman engineering.

whereas this (only abstract avaliable...) https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-662-66494-0_25 claim that mathmatics were but an auxillary science? 🤔

nontheless mathmatics seems to have been quite understood and used by the roman engineers building among other things, aqueducts

That's amazing, thank you for trying to deal with the core issues!

And yes, I totally agree that the core issues are more important, and the anti-homless stuff is just symptoms of underlying issues, like systemic hostility towards homeless f.ex

And I did absolutely misread your comment, which I now realize with context

    what is a squatter?

someone that lives in a unused house?

the problem there is that a house stands unused, not the people needing a roof over their head.

also, I am really confused do you think that I'm for these spikes and shit? this is clearly meant to ban the spikes and stuff used to further dehumanize homeless

yea, it's also just up to 160

using grayjay to download wham:last christmas gives us up to 134kbps opus. which is fine, it's the official channel and all, so upload is pretty good.

Just talking, is more like 118kbps, a gresham lecture came in at that.

Opus is variable, which is pretty good. saves bandwith and all.

also to point out, youtube reencodes a lot of videos, so the older it is - the more likely it has been re-encoded. and youtube is not encoding from an old master file.

Point is, totally agree on the generational thing, which you (mostly) avoids with spotify.

it's good enough for most audio setups if you find the decent audio on youtube first

If you followed the mainstream news for the Iran/Israel escalation, then you might have been terrified about ww3, fearmongering is something they do well. I'm here to suggest a quite crazy channel for leftist to follow. military industrial economics, channel Perun. Not because MIC good, but because it's a channel that grants a very well versed way to understanding modern conflicts. No, it's not perfect, but it's way better than cnn or some shit edit!: it's also one of the reasons I'm less afraid of nuclear escalation in the world! also lol, link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC3ehuUksTyQ7bbjGntmx3Q

I have a lot of facial hair; and I've been trying to properly combat it for a long time now. I first got a safety razor, for a close shave - but the dark hairs were very visible and grew out a couple of millimeters by the end of the day. I tried laser, but apparently my facial hairs are both light and dark, not to mention also having red pigments - so there weren't much results. Then i tried pulling hairs out, one by one - this has the actual results I want, but I have to spend so much time on it, and do it around 3 times a week to even keep it sort of under control. I have a epilating machine (pulling hairs out), that work wonders on my legs - but my facial skin hates it, and last time I ripped my upper lip pretty badly I'm hoping for permanent hair removal, but I have to wait for my doctor to hopefully send me to a place (electrolysis) Does anyone here have any experience with waxing the face or such? Should I give up and live with the dark shades of shaving?
