Deflection, distraction, and intimidation. Another example of the Florida governor's lack of transparency and thug-like tactics.

I for one welcome the schadenfreude.

I've tried Jerboa, Liftoff, Connect, Summit, and Thunder, yet the one I keep coming back to is Voyager. Clean UI, easy to use, easy to switch between accounts, features such as swipe, hide, favoriting communities. Easy to subscribe and block. Updated regularly, sometimes twice a day. Still waiting on sync. Will see what comes about.

With the lack of transparency and avoidance of answering questions directly, you would think the R-base would have at least a bit of suspicion. It is infuriating how folks (on both sides of the aisle) blindly support individuals without having a clear understanding of future intentions and their potential consequences.

According to the article
"Other states not proceeding in the program, including Alaska, Mississippi, Texas, and Idaho, pinned their decision on staffing issues and the argument that the program was meant for COVID disruptions that are no longer occurring, among other reasons".
Missouri is opting out because of the challenges in administration systems to coordinate and disperse the resources.
Wow....just utterly frustrating and sad for those who could use the help.

I am guessing this is not a current function within Jerboa; however, is there an easier way of sharing your community list with a second account on a different instance than individually searching for communities? If I am within one instance, I may not see the same communities available to join as I do from another instance. I have had to go into the individual instances and search for !community@instance in order to add a bunch of communities to subscribe to. Was wondering if at a later point, perhaps Jerboa might have the ability to sync subs between accounts on different instances. Thanks for all the work you have put into this app. Really enjoying it so far.

TBH the acting of a few characters and writing is a tad rough in the first season, but it gets immensely better. Like any Star Trek or sci-fi show, you have to push through the first season as it introduces you to the world, characters, relationships, and storylines. But I assure you, it is worth it to continue through as seasons 2-4 really open up the depth of the stories and characters, providing an enjoyable viewing experience.

@jonah - would you be willing to link mander.xyz to our community? They have a lot of science-based subs that look interesting. Thanks

Star Wars: The Old Republic
It's not as expansive as many MMORPGs are for dungeons and raiding (flashpoints and operations) unless you subscribe and join an active guild. However, the RPG storylines with player choices are fabulous.
The base game is free and there are a ton of activities to participate in without having to spend any money. Events rotating on a regular basis, PVE, PVP, start-fighter action, or just play solo and explore a ton of planets and storylines. If you want to dip your toes further into the expansions, subscribe for one month and they all become available permanently.
Definitely worth a try for someone looking for casual entertainment with end-game playability if one wishes to do so.
Hi all. New user as of yesterday (reddit refugee). Am playing around between the lemmy.one site and the Jerboa app. I have subscribed to a bunch of communities to get a feel for what is available through Lemmy. How do you prefer to sort posts? All, subbed, local? Newest, active, new comments, etc.? I am trying to find a more efficient way of viewing posts I am more likely to have interest in and/or communities in which to participate. Just looking for ideas from others in how they best utilize this platform. Thanks
