An Xbox Adaptive Controller paired with the Logitech Adaptive kit can get him most of the way there. He would still need an analog stick replacement. You can find some great custom ones on etsy, like from SevenMileMountain

Sadly there is no one boxed solution for it. And you'll probably end up spending over $250+ to get it all together. The disabled tax is brutal.

Ah thanks. That's what I thought. MicroSD cards are cheap enough and I boot to Windows once in a blue moon. Rather do that than adjust my partitions to give Windows a home on my device. It remains banished to the MicroSD. But yeah I could see how someone that uses Windows more frequently would want to go that route.

Trump and the like are always screaming about liberals doing witch hunts on them while they are doing very illegal shit. That's exactly what these guys are going to do if they get a hold of power. It's always projection.

We ended up nailing them down to plywood. They registered waaaaay better but wore out 3x as fast.

Behold this $400 monstrosity. This is my Xbox Adaptive controller set up mapped for Ultima Online Outlands. I've had a few iterations but this seems best for me so far. Can use it with some other games but that requires using WASD with my feets. It costs so much because it took 3 freaking Logitech kits to get all the buttons I needed. 😭

My wife had a PS2 version of this with Final Fantasy 11 and the hard drive/modem attachment. I had never seen one before. It was pretty cool.

I would love to see a Steam deck like version. It really needed a right analog stick and a touchpad.

I'm all for competition and they are getting better but they just miss the mark. While some of them are faster than the Steam deck, their frame rate lows and averages don't get close to how stable it can be. Plus the touch pads, joy stick functions, 4 rear buttons. It's everything you need and the price is better than theirs. I had the original LED since launch and have since upgraded to the OLED model and it was absolutely worth it. The improvements they made to the touchpads, reduced weight and a gorgeous screen are fantastic.

It baffles me how people get the ROG Ally over it. Maybe because they hear that some games may not run on Linux? Those are usually competitive FPS' that I wouldn't want to play on a handheld anyway and if you really wanted to you could just install Windows 10/11 onto a MicroSD and boot to Windows.

Second this. You can set it to enable when you place your finger on either joystick, the trackpad or even set it up to turn on when you press whichever button to ADS. It works very well and has a ton of customization options.

It wasn't showing up for me on the families beta I was already on. Switching to the regular beta it now is and the family function looks the same.

Is this beta separate from the Family beta? I guess you can't do both?

Hi Beehaw! I've finally made the switch to Linux, I'm using Nobara OS based on Fedora. It's been very nice so far (I had tried to go with Arch but Nvidia drivers ehhh). I'm running into issues remapping controls to my Xbox Adaptive Controller. Was hoping someone here might have some input. I use foot controls for WASD control on a foot joystick and 2 other functions mapped to the L and R triggers, depending on game. Most of the time I'm just mapping them to a single key. The problem I'm running into is getting dual inputs sent to the game. AntiMicroX is sending the remapped key but the game is also getting Left Trigger sent to the game. I've tried unmapping the buttons on the controller in Steam's Controller configurator and also disabling Steam Input for the game completely. But I'm still having issues in Helldivers 2 sending both. As an example, I have left trigger remapped to open Strategems, but it makes me ADS as well. I did have this same issue in Windows sometimes but I used ReWASD and I was able to remap and mute the button in that application and that worked perfectly. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I haven't booted back into Windows since last Thursday and I really don't want to ever again (Go F yourself CoPilot).

I already own the original, but back when I got it I was unable to play due to the poor control schemes since I am disabled. Now I own an Xbox Adaptive Controller that I used to play through Elden Ring pretty well. I'd love to go back and play some of the earlier games. I already own the original. Is it in any better state to play? I remember needing to add a fan patch to fix a lot of the issues. Or should I just get the Remaster and call it a day? Is there a recommended play order? I do see people recommending 3 over the first two if you're coming off Elden Ring. Appreciate your opinions.
