Posting this here so it doesn't get lost if the subreddit goes down. Thanks /u/TheLeafcutter for approval and for creating the below! > > > Greetings, MechWarriors. Last week I decided to update my MegaMek fluff images--you know, the ones that show up on your record sheet or when you preview a 'Mech--to the new redesigns. Master Unit List has the line art for each 'Mech, so it was just a matter of search, then save image to the MegaMek folder. Well, one thing led to another and I ended up downloading images for all of the 'Mechs. And by that I mean all of them. BattleMechs, OmniMechs, IndustrialMechs, LAMs, super heavies, Solaris, boondoggles, you name it. If it has a canon image, Master Unit List has it, which means so can MegaMek. I figure I should share my work to make this easier for others, so I bundled them up in a handy little zip. You can find the instructions here: > > > > [https://github.com/MegaMek/megamek/wiki/How-do-I-get-Fluff-Images-to-work](https://github.com/MegaMek/megamek/wiki/How-do-I-get-Fluff-Images-to-work) > > > > Note that I didn't create these images or do anything special to pirate them, they're all available on Master Unit List. All I did was bundle them up. If you see any issues or missing images let me know and I'll fix them. > > > > As a side note, these are also what I use if I need to print out some paper standees to serve as proxies for an OpFor or something. Here's a writeup I did on my process a while back: > > > > [https://www.reddit.com/r/battletech/comments/y629bl/how\_to\_paper\_standees/](https://www.reddit.com/r/battletech/comments/y629bl/how_to_paper_standees/) > >
