Were Soviet Union women suffering?

First of all, what do you mean with your first statement? Unfeminine? When do women look feminine to you?

A silly example, but, Nina Khrushcheva vs Jacqueline Kennedy. Also, not saying good or bad, arguably feminization of women in the West is a product of male gaze being the dominant form of gaze because the men are dominant, even today.

    where you got this idea

It was an online leftist conference about how the women in the socialist countries were more equal to men than in capitalist countries at the time. But it also included stuff like "Soviet Union was not representative of socialisms, other Eastern European countries at the time were a lot better".

I don’t have any sources available right now as I’m working but I’m sure more people will comment and hopefully they bring sources.

Perhaps you should edit your comment later, as this is a small community and this thread might get buried under all the memes.

Of course, anyone who thinks that Russia does not want to be in the US's place is deluding themselves. Russia would be just as imperialist as the USA and will want to become as such as soon as the USA falls, they are a capitalist country, it is inevitable. Unless, of course, a revolution happens again :)

Communism is when no line. I mean it, seriously, the concept is deleted from the society. Want to wait in a line? Can't, because everything is already given to you. Want to snort a line of coke? Can't cus there are no drug problems. Want to have your neighbour in your line of sights? Can't, because there is no more killing each other. Want to walk in a straight line? Can't because the communist Earth is round and the communist Universe is curved.

If he actually believes this shit that he spews it is critical. I am under impression that he just spews this to stay on the media good side, but I might just be seeing what I want to see.

Quantum computers are highly specialized. You cannot run Arma 3 on it 10 times more efficiently or something, it would actually not be able to run at all. It is similar to analog vs digital computer. Analog computers are insanely efficient and fast, but they are also incredibly specialized. They are effectively simulations, systems made to be analogous to a system which you need. Similarly qbits are just analogous to quantum systems, but that is about it. We have a long way to go to form a single good quantum computer.

I hear, even from some leftists, that the USSR in the 1930s was "*Gray bleak totalitarian hell*". But why? What was actually wrong with the USSR in the 1930s?

There is this notion that "*So many things that were bad with the Soviet Union for so long can be traced back to Joseph Stalin.*" One specific mentioned such thing is the 1936 Family Code. So what was it about?

There is always this claim going around that Eastern European State Socialisms were bad and there were many negative things. It is always the same, political camps, atrocities, people robbed of even little property they had, shortages of stockings and proper medical care, and so on. Was it really that bad? What are these claims based on? Are they all complete fabrications? I know that political camps did exist, it is a necessary step in fighting counterrevolution.

So with the 1970s reforms the CPC allowed foreign companies and capitalism to come into the PRC, reducing the equality of workers with the owners, regressing closer to capitalism from socialism. These companies obviously exploit the Chinese workers to make giant profits. Even today there is a strong 996 work culture in the PRC. Does this amount to Chinese Revolution being exploited? I just feel uneasy about it.

There is this claim being thrown around that whatever you hear coming from the PRC will never ever be critical of the CPC. So I am looking for counterexamples. The guy in the video specifically mentioned a recent flooding in a tunnel, a subway, and how death toll was never revealed and how only the PLA was praised for their hard work, and nobody has been criticised?

The official 2002 Congress authorization for the use of military force against Iraq specifically mentions that the USA is just defending itself because Iraq attempted to assassinate the President of the United States of America in 1993 and they harbored Al Qaeda, who commited September 11 attacks. Are these claims based on truth?

So, if I understand it correctly, there was a coup against Evo in 2019 and then the coupsters got their asses kicked in 2020. As I understand it the coup was all about Lithium. So, what happened to the Lithium?
