The FediJam is a month-long game jam for users of the Fediverse. Make a game (analog or digital, no engine restrictions) in as little or as much time as you consider sensible, and post about it on your Fediverse presence(s) under the jam's hashtag #FediJam. Theme The theme of this jam will be voted on via a Mastodon poll, going live 24 hours before the jam starts. Following the theme is optional! However, ignoring it will result in a lower overall score, since "Theme" is a rating category. You'll be given the chance to explain how your game fits the theme when submitting it to the jam. Rules - Post about your game under the hashtag #FediJam. (You'll have to provide a link to this post when submitting) - No paid games! Set your game's pricing option to either "No payments" or "$0 or donate". - Reusing old assets and/or code is allowed. Don't just re-upload an old game, though! - You may only use assets and code that you have the legal right to use. - No AI generated content (text, sound, images – nothing!) - No NSFW content, e.g. excessive gore, nudity, etc.

A valid opinion, but it's still a widely used community-building tool and relevant to this discussion. The author added this screenshot to the blog post as an example of devs cleverly circumventing the new store page description rules.

That's right, thanks for pointing it out. I edited the post to reflect that detail 👍
