Israel is also working on "Iron Beam" to try complement Iron Dome, as the cost of Iron Dome interceptions are very high, and it's increasingly being bypassed. It's set to be operational next year.

It could be viable, but the source of the satellite imagery and the impact count said that all counted impact craters appear to be from intact re-entry vehicles.

The craters/damaged buildings look like they were hit with intact reentry vehicles.

Those are probably hits from the Ghadr-110, it's Iran's most inaccurate guided ballistic missile as it has no aerodynamic fins to guide it on re-entry, it relies solely on its actuating solid fuel rocket motor attached to the warhead itself for maneuvering. This leads to a 100-300m Circular Error Probability(CEP), or median error radius for the mathematical term. The radius of a circle, when centred at the target, that 50% hits will land inside of.

They're lying because they've been figured out. Iron Dome is not designed and can't be used to intercept ballistic missiles. David's Sling has all the same flaws as the Patriot air defence system it's based on when intercepting ballistic targets, Arrow-3, the system that aims to intercept ballistic missiles in space, can be bypassed by Iran's Fattah-1 missiles due to their ability to manoeuvre in space. This just leaves Arrow-2 as a viable intercept system, as it aims to intercept ballistic missiles in their terminal phase of flight, as the warhead re-enters the Earth's atmosphere and homes in on the target. This works with missiles that are single stage and slow down considerably on re-entry, but for missiles with a rocket stage on the warhead that impact the target at hypersonic speeds, the intercept window is tiny time wise, so it can be overwhelmed.

It depends on what missiles were used. The Kheibar Shekan and Emad missiles have movable aerodynamic fins on the warhead/re-entry vehicle(RV) itself, allowing for high accuracy. Fattah-1 has both movable aerodynamic fins and a vectoring rocket on the RV, allowing for high accuracy and a hypersonic impact speed on the target. The Ghadr-110 missile only has a actuating/vectoring rocket on its RV, so it's less accurate as it doesn't have aerodynamic fins/wingtips.

For accuracy, for Ghadr-110 you're looking at a >100m Circular Error Probability(CEP), or median error radius. So the radius of the circle, when centred at the target, that 50% of warheads will land in. For Emad missiles, that's around a 50m CEP. For Kheibar Shekan and Fattah-1, CEP is likely <20m.

I feel hard for the wife as they married pretty young. It seems like he was her first bf, etc etc.

This is unfortunately very common in the Afrikaner church community. If you are familiar with the concept of church marriages in the Deep South of the United States, it's like that. So many people marrying young like this while still being sheltered to all the world has to offer. And yes, it often ends in divorce, affairs (both physical and emotional), etc. It only works if both partners are heavily invested in that kind of traditional lifestyle. I am so glad I got out of that church environment as a teenager and ended up an agnostic/atheist. I can't imagine living life in that way.

This sounds kinda fucked and I'm sorry, but I'm yet to meet a white S. African IRL who has good opinions on shit

A lot of the South African "expat" community is like that, if I ever leave South Africa I would not associate with them much. Maybe get some biltong and watch the rugby, but no more than that.

This is just standard racist nonsense that is very popular in Afrikaner circles, especially that last point, that's the Afrikaner version of the "empty land myth" used to justify colonialism.

The first point has some truth, but not in the way he thinks. He's right that many non white people die during farm murders (usually farm workers), but the reason their deaths are not publicised is because it goes against the "white genocide" rhetoric being pushed by the far right in South Africa. Also, there are "only" about 60 farm murders a year, according to both Afriforum and the South African Police Service.

It's a very, very bad situation in terms of rural security and organised crime in South Africa, but there aren't raving gangs killing and pillaging thousands of farmers a year. It's not at that scale. There is organised crime, in particular targeting cash in transit vehicles, hijacking trucks/18 wheelers, blowing up ATMs, and even targeting farms. South Africa is a very dangerous country. Most houses have barred windows, security gates, alarm systems, etc. Because of this danger, a lot of people are susceptible to certain narratives. But it's not a warzone.

The stuff about his wife and the way he speaks to her reads like the common dynamics in a traditionally conservative Afrikaner marriage. I could easily be wrong here, but that's what I'm picking up.

What's his approach/opinion? Is he pro land reform, but with the caveat that we must avoid the mistakes made by other countries who were in a similar position, or is he just anti land reform in general, which is usually accompanied by a belief in "white genocide" nonsense.

How in the hell were people living in Ugledar? It looks like a post apocalyptic city after a nuclear detonation. Were they locked in the basements by Ukrainian soliders and prevented from leaving? Did they voluntarily stay and wait for Russia to take over? The first four points are good, then it starts getting more and more deranged, but he manages to bring it back by pointing out that Ukraine and Israel bomb civilians on purpose (Zelensky's "victory plan" for Ukraine included the terror bombings of Russian cities using NATO weaponry), then it descends into derangement again, but he manages to bring it back with the last point, which is the key to everything.

I hear this all the time and I absolutely hate it. You go to church once a week, go to bible study/cell groups, you follow all the traditionally conservative rules around protestant Christianity. You are part of a religion. Just because you believe you can personally communicate with God and don't need to go through the priests, it doesn't change the fact that you are still very much part of a religion.

It's not the debunked claims. As someone that did compete in sports in high school (albeit poorly), the story does check out. Sports organisations are underfunded and end up becoming circular/annulation like organisations in which athletes parents, loved ones, family, etc get involved and take up senior positions. I've seen it happen before. Even outside of my personal experiences, the stories about athletes having one of their parents as a head coach are pretty infamous, or just famous, depending on how good the athlete is. I don't think anyone cares that Armand Duplantis' coach is his dad for example, he's the world record holder. However, you could argue that when this happens in more "subjective" sports, that there is a high potential for cheating, especially in organisational positions outside of coaching. There's a strong argument there.

Also the end of this video is hilarious and dripping in irony. ::: spoiler spoiler the end of the video The end of the video is basically an advertisement for Conte's new doping regiment he primarily uses with boxers, while he very unconvincingly fakes repentance and being an anti doping advocate :::

As someone that always got the creeps from this guy and got tired of seeing him all over social media promoting his nonsense with his whole "I'm a professor at Stanford" act, this article is cathartic and somewhat vindicating to read. The long and the short of it is that while preaching self control, cutting out toxicity from your life, and creating peace, he proceeded to have affairs with five or six different women at the same time, with unprotected sex and potential spreading of STDs/STIs, along with cheating on the woman he was trying to have a child with, as well as ghosting pretty much everyone in his life constantly. He also made up a dubious backstory to hide the nepotism that allowed him to have a career at Stanford: > What does seem certain is that in his adolescence, Andrew became a regular consumer of talk therapy. In therapy, one learns to tell stories about one’s experience. A story one could tell is: I overcame immense odds to be where I am. Another is: The son of a Stanford professor, born at Stanford Hospital, grows up to be a Stanford professor. For context with this paragraph, Huberman talks about the benefits of therapy all the time: > Andrew’s relationship to therapy remains intriguing. “We were at dinner once,” says Eve, “and he told me something personal, and I suggested he talk to his therapist. He laughed it off like that wasn’t ever going to happen, so I asked him if he lied to his therapist. He told me he did all the time.” As a summary for how his podcast is filled with projection: > With repeated listening to the podcast, one discerns a man undergoing, in public, an effort to understand himself. There are hours of talking about addiction, trauma, dopamine, and fear. Narcissism comes up consistently. One can see attempts to understand and also places where those attempts swerve into self-indulgence.

A dessert typically associated with bisexuals on the internet, they're actually pretty delicious and not that difficult to make. **Ingredients:** 1 cup Butter, Vegan comrades can use vegan butter as an alternative, if you can't find it at a store you can make your own using plant based milk and various instructions online (I'm not vegan so I can't comment on how to do this), ½ cup Sugar 2 cups flour, gluten or wheat free comrades can use coconut or rice flour, or a mixture of the two (my preferred method when making for wheat allergic friends, I'm not gluten/wheat free myself),  ½ teaspoon vanilla essence/extract (optional), 4 Eggs, Vegans can replace this with 2 to 2  ½ cups of coconut milk, 1 ½ cups of sugar, ¼ cup flour, gluten free comrades can use the same substitute as before and vegans can replace this with corn starch/flour as it binds to the coconut milk better, Enough lemons to make between  ½ to 1 cup of lemon juice, usually between 2 to 4 lemons based on personal preference. A bit of confectionery sugar to sprinkle on top (optional). **Directions** Step 1 Pre Heat oven to 180°C (about 350°F). Step 2 Line the bottom of a 23 by 33 centimeter (9 by 13 inches) or similar size oven proof container/pan/dish with baking paper or a little bit of butter and flour or non stick spray to prevent the base from being stuck to the bottom. Step 3 In a bowl using a whisk, mixer or blender, blend together the butter/vegan butter, 2 cups flour/gluten free substitute, 1/2 cup sugar and optional vanilla essence/extract . Do not melt the butter before mixing as this will make the crust less flaky and compact. Press and compact into the bottom of the pan/dish. Step 4 Bake the base for 10 to 15 minutes in the oven, or until the edges start getting golden and the middle is firm. In a bowl, mix together the 1/2 cups sugar and 1/4 cup flour/corn flour/gluten free substitute. Whisk in the 4 eggs/coconut milk and lemon juice, made by cutting open the lemons and juicing them into a cup, and using a sieve to filter out the seeds and "flesh" while adding to the mix . Pour over the baked base/crust. Step 5 Lower the oven temperature by 10°C/20°F and bake for 20 minutes in the oven. Leave the bars to cool a bit before cutting them into squares or rectangles or what ever shape you want really (Anarchy means no rules!!!:anarchy: ). If you want you can sprinkle a bit of confectionery sugar on top (I don't like doing this). If you like them cool and want them to firm up more you can store them in the fridge. And you're done! Eat away. Hope everyone enjoyed that one! If the ingredients are too expensive or the recipe is too large remember you can halve the quantity of all ingredients and use a smaller container to make less lemon bars. Cheers and lots of appreciation and love to everyone!
