@doublejay3000 Honestly I am unsure how it all works. I think the post is created on the mastodon server i am on then pushes it to the place you tag. Maybe its a cross post?

I'm still unsure if using the one account over many fediverse service is really workable. I know people are working on more support between lemmy and mastodon but right now it is a little bit janky.

I read the "essays" the beehive have to "join" and take part. In my view they wanted to make a space for their own community and choose a fediverse where they should have picked a closed off forum/discord/redditcopy.

To do so you copy the url into the search on #mastodon

You can also do this to reply to posts.
