I’m trying to use my FW13AMD with Fedora Linux in docked mode, i.e. lid closed, external monitor, keyboard and mouse etc. but every time I close the lid it immediately sleeps, and I’m unable to wake it with the keyboard or mouse. I’ve seen posts about this working under windows, so am I missing something? There didn’t seem to be any relevant settings in Gnome Settings

I got mine as a DIY kit, and decided to buy RAM, SSD and power adapter separately, which means I don’t have a FW power adapter. I’m now questioning my life choices, and probably just going to buy a FW one

I bought it with Amazon prime, so I’ve already returned it due to the easy returns process

I’m in UK. I agree with Teknet being a bit unheard of, but reviews were very good. I was more surprised about the Anker failing yesterday as I’ve heard good things about them
So yesterday my Anker 100W charger died on the second use, so I bought another one, this time by Teknet (also 100W) which arrived today. Straight out of the box I plug it into my FW 13 and got nothing. Tried it on my phone, still nothing. I made a post yesterday asking if I could use a 20W iPhone charger temporarily as long as I wasn’t using the laptop at the time. I’m doing that and it’s working, so I’m confident the laptop is ok. Are chargers from Amazon just bad? Is this just a coincidence that I’ve had two broken ones so close together? Or is destiny trying to prevent me using my new laptop?

How do I know if there are ‘incompatibilities’? If the charge light is on is it safe to assume it’s working?
My Anker charger has stopped working after only 2 uses, and the only other USB-C charger I have in the house is a 20W iPhone charger. Is it possible and safe to trickle-charge the laptop with a low power charger whilst it is powered off and not in use? Edit to add it’s only a temporary solution until my new charger arrives tomorrow.
I've found a page on the [Framework website](https://knowledgebase.frame.work/external-monitor-support-on-the-framework-laptop-rk5GVUwyY) which states the laptop can drive 4 displays simultaneously, but is it possible or advisable to do this from a single USB-C port? Framework 13 AMD
My batch 4 AMD just arrived (UK)! I only got my tracking number 2 days ago, thought I had plenty time for my additional bits to arrive (RAM, SSD etc.) but FedEx work a lot faster than I gave them credit for (even their own estimate said Monday!). Now I’m sat here with a laptop I can’t power up because my SSD won’t arrive til tomorrow. 🤦♂️ Guess I’ll go and sit by the front door and peer through the letterbox a little longer
