I wear kilts every day. I gotta tell you I am an old man and no looker for sure but women, young and old, compliment me all the time now. Even if I'm grubby from the garden or some project as I often am. It feels nice to be noticed like that for an old fella like me. My wife also digs it.

Yea I'm kinda the same. Sloppy 90's guy. I mostly buy kilts online from Damn near Kilt "em but I am Canadian so the company forces me to buy through amazon, which sucks balls but what can you do. I like to have real pockets and they're one of the only manufacturers that have a style with this feature.

I gotta tell you as a 42 year old man I had pretty serious cancer. I made it through but now at 50 my give a fuck is all gone. I switched to kilts about 6 years ago and I don't even own pants anymore. I fucking love them and I don't give two shits about what anyone thinks or says. That's their problem not mine.

It's a huge problem. We have a small homestead/market garden and eliminating plastic is very difficult. We do what we can, no plastic mulch, no plastic trays or pots, no synthetic fertilizers, rainwater for watering etc. but all our water collection, greenhouse plastic, water systems etc are all plastic based.

They certainly are yet med schools only accept the "brightest" many of whom are this type.

Having been a paramedic for many years, I'll take the 80% med student over the no bedside manner, no common sense, overly bookish student who can only think about what the book told them.

Our small rural county in Canada has been on required composting of food scraps with the exception of meats and fats for over 20 years. Not driven by food waste but savings in collection and disposal unfortunately. This is amazing for an entire country to be considering food waste as big a problem as it is.

That's because during the oil boom years all the newly wealthy from AB bought homes in BC. All over the place. On the coast islands, the Okanogan, the shushwaps. Just full of good ole boys now.
