Games that worked fine on my LCD deck are now not working on my OLED? (Elden Ring & Hi-Fi Rush)

Sorry, I meant 4 threads active, not cores. I'm still waiting on ER to install (work wi-fi isn't the best...) but I assume this will be the problem. Thank god it's me overlooking something and not a fault with the deck!!

I kept telling myself to try changing Proton but never did...this has worked with Hi-Fi Rush but I am currently re-installing Elden Ring.

Also I was checking through every single setting I could think of and discovered that I had accidentally disabled SMT on the default profile in powertools, so there were only 4 cores active...I wonder if this has been the problem all along?

Will have to do some more testing when ER is re-installed.

Games that worked fine on my LCD deck are now not working on my OLED? (Elden Ring & Hi-Fi Rush)

I have played Elden Ring and Hi-Fi Rush on the LCD steam deck before just fine, with no issues whatsoever. Booted Hi-Fi Rush last night and it loads as far as the title screen, asking me to press start. When I press start, the game freezes for maybe 10 seconds, then the screen goes black with the following error message: "LowLevelFatal Error [File: Unknown] [Line: 684] Result failed at Z: UE4/4.27hbk/Engine/Source/Runtime}/ D3D12RHI/Private/D3D12Viewport.cpp:674 with error E_FAIL" If I press okay on this error, the game will close. Elden Rings problem is a bit different, it will go through the anti-cheat loading bar, then there will be a white screen for a moment, then a black screen with the steam footer and "abort game" in the bottom right, and absolutely nothing will happen. Sometimes there's no white screen and it just has a black screen the steam footer and "back" in the bottom right corner. I have tried deleting and re-installing both games, verifying the installation files, deleting the proton files, deleting the compatdata folders in Steam and deleting all the Decky plugins I had installed since getting the OLED. My googling has not given me any decent solutions. Other games work absolutely fine, so I am at a loss. Has anyone had these issues or can anyone assist with any other possible solutions I can try to get the games to load?
