These cats are so identical i have trouble believing it's not one cat copy pasted.

Update: the verdict is in, the one on the right is a copy cat. I can tell because of the pixels.

Cats can be affectionate. They provide entertainment too. I like it when my cat Somes to sit on my lap when I'm reading a book, or snuggled up i bed when it's cold at night.

I admire dog people for being able to give their pets all the attention they need, go for walks, clean after them. some times I don't have the time to give enough attention to my cat when he wants to play.

It's the iBump, it's a haptic invention gently letting you know you have passed to the other half of the screen. They also made it visible to give you a gentle cue as to where the middle is.

I never used any public ports. Reality is if i have a cable with me, I'm just as likely to have a power bank, and it charges my phone faster. It also gives me more freedom of movement as I don't have to be wired to a wall.

I really liked 11/22/63, it was my first King novel, but then I read The Outsider and was disillusioned.

Because a book can be read again, provide virtually the same value to the next person. If you try to resell a movie ticket or vacation it won't work, because ticket is access to a one time experience.

Probably some children's book I can't remember. The earliest book I remember reading by myself would be one of this series (in Polish) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomek_in_the_Land_of_Kangaroos?wprov=sfla1

This one was also a popular children's book, but I think it was read to me by my mother https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akademia_pana_Kleksa_(novel)?wprov=sfla1

You're right, but I only read fiction so i don't care if a book was updated. Corrections are expected.

For everything else, the internet archive does a good job of archiving internet contents.

I haven't considered this. I'm pretty sure my library has ebooks, but it's not compatible with my Kindle, and i wouldn't want to read them any other way.

I really couldn't justify buying new books. Once you read it what do you do with it? Secondhand books are very cheap because books don't hold value (except for rare books). Libraries do exist and provide books for free, and you can order books if they don't have them in your local library, but waiting times for new releases can be months.

Ebooks are my favorite, but i have even less reason to buy ebooks (on Amazon) as they can't be resold or even gifted. Unless it costs €1 or €2, but these cheap books aren't great.

Some subscription service, like Netflix would be perfect for me if it had all the books. Kindle Unlimited is good, but selection of available titles is very limited.

  • Santa Clara, CA — In a move that's already sending shockwaves through the tech industry, Nvidia announced today that it will be rebranding to "Nvidai" to better reflect its integral role in the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution. "We've been at the forefront of AI development for years," said Jensen Huang, CEO of the newly christened Nvidai, in a press conference that featured holographic projections of the company’s latest AI models. "It's only fitting that our name reflects our commitment to this groundbreaking technology. Plus, it sounds cooler." The change comes as Nvidai continues to dominate the AI hardware market with its state-of-the-art GPUs, which have become essential for training and deploying complex machine learning models. "Frankly, we're tired of people thinking our name is just a clever abbreviation for 'Nifty Video Interface, Duh,'" Huang quipped. "It's time to set the record straight." Reactions from the tech community have been mixed. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, tweeted, "Great move by Nvidai. Now they just need to change 'GeForce' to 'AIForce' and they'll be set. #brandinggenius." Meanwhile, Intel's CEO was reportedly seen scribbling potential new names for his company, including "IntellAI" and "InteLLigence." Despite the excitement, the rebranding effort has not been without its challenges. Early reports indicate that the transition has caused some confusion among consumers. One Twitter user lamented, "Just bought a brand new 'Nvidai' graphics card, and now my rig won't stop trying to pass the Turing Test. Send help." However, Huang remains optimistic. "This is just the beginning," he said, hinting at future product lines that will feature AI-enhanced everything—from gaming experiences that adapt in real-time to your skill level, to AI-powered GPUs that can predict the stock market. "We're not just Nvidia anymore. We're NvidAI. The future is here, and it's got a neural network." As the company embarks on this new chapter, tech enthusiasts worldwide are left to ponder one pressing question: how do you even pronounce "Nvidai"?

    X1 yoga or x280?

I am looking to get a secondhand ThinkPad as my secondary laptop. Im currently undecided between X1 yoga g3, or x280. I want a lightweight laptop to replace my old t440. I like yoga because it's a convertible and this may be useful to watch movies in tent mode or use it as a tablet to browse internet. My main concern is the power button which I hear is easy to break and impossible to fix. X280 is more lightweight and compact, but the screen resolution is lower than x1. Both have soldered ram, so not upgradeable. I would be getting an 8GB laptop as 16gb is hard to find around here. Does cpu make a big difference? I will be installing Fedora on it.

Seems pointless and inconvenient for me as they usually seem to be poor quality, and can you really listen to music in the shower, and are you showering long enough to benefit from it? Or do you own one and use for a different purpose, like swimming or Kayaking?
