The way I see it, if a restaurant can't provide a living wage and also provide reasonably priced food, then the restaurant is being run poorly and the money is not being managed properly.

I'm sure Google contactless payment works really well when the phone is dead. Or you drop your phone in a toilet or off a bridge. It's far easier to loose a phone than a card in a wallet in your pocket. If you lose your phone, you also lose access to all your money.

I currently have a ring doorbell that I pay a yearly fee for but I want to get away from Amazon and a subscription fee. I just found out about it. Open Source messaging. It seems intriguing although I'm not sure I would have much to do with it. I honestly can't find too much information about it except for the website and a few YouTube videos. I was just curious if anyone has had experience with it.
