Sometimes there's a performer that just adds a little something to a standard move that takes it from a regular move to something that could be a finisher.. Like Athena, I've been catching up on Final Battle and God damn her shotgun drop kick looks like the most vicious and impactful run of the mill move out there right now. I don't know if it's just her frame and the way she looks when she bends her legs in or if she's just had great camera angles but ever since she went with this aggressive heel angle it's been one of the nastiest looking moves on TV. Who has or had a move like that for you?
Rampage has become the "C" show and RoH is "developmental" that's only available on a streaming app. With the TV/Streaming deal coming up in 2024 it makes perfect sense to merge these two, and brand it as a 2 hour show. I feel like the biggest issue with RoH is that it's AEW...but not. So you see some people show up, but if you want to follow them you need a subscription. A streaming app for a single weekly TV show with a subscription can be a hard pill to swallow for a lot of people, especially considering RoH doesn't have that type of presence. Keep the titles as RoH, find a way to keep the name and preserve the history, but take all the good from RoH and Rampage I think you could have a banger of a 2 hour show. Follow the early NXT/Takeover playbook and you could have a killer developmental show that isn't the "C" show, but the chance to catch the up and coming talent and the beginning of feuds that could last years across all three shows over time.
So TK being TK we have a super hyped signing coming up on Saturday. We know it's not Kota since he just signed. I was originally thinking it's gotta be Osprey but with Rousey getting attacked with the ROH title.... I'm starting to think it's her. What do you guys think? Osprey? Mercedes? Rhonda? Someone else?
Is Copeland it? Don't get me wrong I'm psyched for him especially with the vacuum that No Chill Phil created. That being said I was expecting Some NJPW related announcement Or A streaming announcement Or An updated PPV schedule I'm really hoping they announce something to kick off the 4 year dynamite anniversary tonight. It's refreshing not having a "Tony Kahn has a huge announcement" every few weeks but this "New Era" talk prior to wrestledream is pretty mid.

I don't know how familiar others are with these grid games that have popped up but this is the only wrestling one I've seen. The concept is simple it's a 3x3 grid and you need to figure out a wrestler who for instance was NXT and US Champion. It sounds easy but the real challenge is getting the rarest picks. You can bulldoze through a lot of them with big names that have had long careers, but picking guys that no one remembers is very satisfying. It's a fun daily challenge (refreshes around noon EST) and I think a bunch of us would have fun doing this and discussing. Thoughts? Also I'm ranked 65 with a score of 19 😁
I feel like it's looking rougher by the day. I was catching up on collision and that GTS on Joe was trash, and I feel like this has been the case for the entirety of his return. It just looks really bad, I have a friend coming over he doesn't watch wrestling but with as big an event as this is he is going to come by and check it out and I feel like I'm going to have to explain what was supposed to happen should Punk "hit" the GTS.

No idea why you are getting so much hate. Anyone who has been taught how to handle a firearm knows to treat every weapon as if it was loaded. It doesn't matter if it's a training firearm which can be a very bright color and has parts visibly drilled out so you can see it will not function, guns firing blanks, an airsoft gun, even something like a pneumatic nail gun, etc. Verify the source of ammunition is empty and there is not a round in the chamber visibly and physically.
I'm not saying everyone in the world should know this, but anyone handling any form of firearm should. Alec Baldwin has been in enough movies and shows where guns were handled that he must have been taught this and seen it as the protocol multiple times.
This is gun safety and it's not a bad thing,.I'm not a huge gun fan myself but promoting firearm safety isn't anything to look down on.
Have finally won me over, I don't know if it was because he was defying Jericho or if it was just a great response to the chops but something happened last night and I think we all got to witness that stupid dance getting over. Hopefully Garcia will continue to climb the ladder.

Have shida run a gang to combat the outsiders but they need to go on the offensive and not just respond. Steal the outsiders jackets and burn em or something. Have Jade show up as the enforcer of the group because she's sick of the outsiders, or maybe the jump her when she first shows up and Shida shows her the value of people that aren't trying to use her.
Months later a renewed Jade competes in a triple for TNT title with Taya and Statlander.
Nyla should be paired with Skye, if you've seen her on Hey EW you know she needs to come out of her shell when speaking and I think Nyla is the person to help do that. Find a good mentor or partner for multiple women do a tag tournament that highlights each wrestler, do some vignettes and promos build it over 2-3 months since this is going to be THE Women's Tag Title to watch. This worked very well for Cole/MJF.
Parity PPVs/TV I know it's not fair to expect 2 blood and guts matches in a single night but we could have a women's lights out match. Baker and Thunderosa showed the crowd would eat it up. 2 women's matches a show should be the minimum. If the main event is a cage March, women's match should be of a similar spectacle. It doesn't need to be the exact same but don't give me a 30 minute banger main event and a 5 minute women's squash match.

If you watched Dynamite last week you saw the sign, even the camera man knows what's up so my question to all of you is how would you fix it. TK gives you the reigns and says he wants a women's division that could headline next year's All Out. You can sign any free agents, use ROH talent, book anymatch or angle you want, but you have to have a great division in one years time. (I'll post my own thoughts later today)

I can understand there being limitations on Dark where you have performers who may only have so much gear available or with them. Yes I can understand what's going on but my friends trying to get back in to wrestling can't, especially in a chaotic match.

From the wont angle it looks like Mox and Chuck are a team. Casual viewers need to be able to quickly identify who's who in a matchoke this and I feel like they could have done much better.
Safety? Overdone? Looks stupid? What are some moves that you feel need to be used less (or not at all)? German/Belly to Belly suplexes Neck injuries and so much can go wrong once the wrestler is released. I remember reading someone saying they won't take Germans anymore and if you look back through history neck injuries started becoming more prevalent along with German suplexes. Same logic for Belly to Belly. Spinning backhand/elbows Looking at you Jericho and Kingston These look horrible and always will. Jericho has a plethora of moves and Kingston using any old school japanese finisher would work with his character. The dive over the ropes and onto 10 guys that fall apart like bowling pins. It's unbelievable but it's not horrible, just way overdone IMHO.
The RoH Title will be addressed next week, really sucks to hear this. Hoping for a quick recovery and a title shot as soon as Mark feels ready.
Total swerve I don't think I saw anyone saying Pac, how do we feel about this? I was hyped for Evil Uno, but this works and I could easily see Pac joining BCC by the end of this, I don't really see Death Triangle coming back anytime soon. Blood and Guts is going to have some crazy spots!!!

Since this place seems to be picking up what are your wrestling hot takes over the eras? -If Hogan didn't screw Mr Perfect out of the Royal Rumble win in XX he would have gone to be in the conversation with Bret, and HBK. -Bret would have always became the man he is regardless of Goldberg. -DX really wasn't that great but they had a theme and a look that worked, and every subsequent trip to the well just got worse and worse. -If NJPW and AEW really wants to grow their American audience they need to make anthology videosthat cover feuds or longer storylines cap them at 20 minutes and put them on YouTube. No new viewer is going to watch hundreds of hours to understand who Kota is or what Moxley is talking about when he says "Chikara bullshit" to Eddie Kingston. -Adam Cole needs to gain just enough so he doesn't have baby knees. I love the guy but when he lowers that knee bad I just wanna go "awww". -Let Keith Lee look the way he wants, old man Lee was a great look.
