I looked into the lemmy src, and what is supposed to be a CRUD API has several layers of abstraction. Same at work, where we have hexagonally structured apps where following any sort of logic is literally impossible. What are your thoughts?

I've been really enjoying my time here lately and I have noticed things. 1. discussions are more chill. On Reddit people would get into flame wars over things and here while it happens it's not as bad, and I actually enjoy spending time here. 2. people are nicer. 3. moderation is amazing. 4. diversity in thoughts is also amazing. Is it okay to own a car in a rural area?

I'm a person living in a rural area and have to either go by train, the nearest station being 15 mins away by car and the trains having a schedule that keeps fluctuating. Or have to go by car where it takes 60 mins to get where I need to go. I wouldn't want to get a late pickup or anything outrageous just something to get me places. I'm not a car enthusiast or anything like that.

How do you all manage to finish things on time or at all?

Hi, so I've been wandering this all my life, but how do others get the energy to finish and do things? My ADHD/Autistic brain has trouble getting the simplest of chores done, simply due to me not being able to start or continue past a mental block. I've been taking meds for my depression, and it seems to have helped but... If anyone has some tricks they've used to get by, please let me know. Thank you in advance for the help!
