Idk I feel like there's also something to be said to have the freedom to just buy another house after saving a bit. It sounds so easy, but most families would have to sell their house in order to upsize.

Never moved but my mom was in credit unions and the trade in of the house was pretty common. In all fairness, there were many "multiple apartment complex owners" at that same CU, they were notably colder and exclusively about numbers (i.e. throwing a fit and sending another appraiser to their barely functional building to get a dozen k).

Fuck this gave me the craziest mental whiplash!! My dad watched a ton of movies w/ me and I inevitably told my childhood teacher that "my favorite movie was XXX" thinking it was the most badass shit ever.

On that note, for such a prideful dude he wore some goofy shit

  • Have been vaping 100% of the time for nearly a decade, but since getting a titanium nail and diapenseries with a lot of different oil, I always find myself choosing that. Kinda silly but I'm almost sad that I don't vape as much anymore. I've been through 2 arizer solo's and it's sad to see the guy gathering dust after 3 years of daily use. I still pick it up every couple of days to chill on while working or playing Minecraft. 99% of the time though, it's just more convenient to get the consumption outta the way and keep grooving. On the flip side, I have always dealt with anxiety while vaping/ smokin/ edibles and oil has NEVER made me anxious as of yet. Regardless, with oil as my main consumption now, I still love my solo and want another dry herb boi, but can't see it becoming my main medium anymore. Anyone else dealing with something similar? TL;DR: oil has replaced vaping for me, how many of y'all dealing with that? Do you go back and forth?

It immediately replaced connect for me. Absolutely incredible. I think I'll have to pick around for some actual feedback, but that's a damn good sign so early.

Love the layout, organization and it's immediately captured my entire Lemmy usage.

  • She was the most loving, patient, grateful and lazy lady I could've asked for. A best friend/ movie companion for me, my mother, father, sister and grandmother with dementia. We'll miss her snores forever. 13 years was a damn good run. RIP jelly

It was a fucking gold mine. I get that there's computer costs to generating this beauty, but ffs the "energy" phone app structure rubs me the wrong way.

Thankfully I got simplediffusion locally, just takes forever
