A few days ago I saw someone with a Libre sensor on their arm while they were driving by. Then, today at the pool, I got asked if my son was wearing a dexcom. She gave me a thumbs up after I said yes 😂👍 My first T1 in the wild experiences. My son was diagnosed April 2022.

People born in the year 2000 don't have to try and calculate how old they are when people ask them their age

I find that the older I get, the less I discuss or think about my age throughout the year so it gets more difficult to remember. Also, my birthday is in January so it's over pretty quickly and I don't tend to think about it again while I'm busy thinking about my 4 kids birthdays that are coming up, instead!

My son was diagnosed at 7 years old in April of 2022. He uses a dexcom g6 and MDI with the inpen. He has no interest in a pump, yet. Been doing pretty decent considering, last A1C was 5.8. Good to be here since I loved the t1 community on reddit.
