Strategy question: Why is Hamas shooting so many rockets now? Why don’t they wait until the ground invasion and shoot them where the iron dome can’t protect?

I don’t think their rockets are powerful enough to fuck up a tank though. Just seems like a waste of resources, when you could either target one specific sector of the dome repeatedly, or wait until the invasion, or target the build up of troops.
