Armored Core 6 wont be a souls like

I know of one person here but also around the internet that folks are speculating that AC6 will play like Dark Souls.

I gotta say; I dont think so. This game was being made in parallel to Elden Ring most likely.

And Miyazaki isnt the head director. Apparently he STARTED on AC6, but down the line; the Sekiro director picked it up; a different person.

If anything; this means likely that AC6 started production after Sekiro under a completely different team entirely.

Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne were successes; but I doubt it was at THAT moment that FromSoft settled into just focusing on DS styled games. Again, Sekiro was dramatically different.

MAYBE AC6 might have influences from the souls series in its melee approach, but there's too many other moving parts to believe it's just gonna be robot Dark Souls.
