A survey found out that 21% of companies in Portugal do not comply with user data requests as per the GDPR

An additional 8% exceed the deadline stipulated in the regulations and 3 entities responded by unpromptedly deleting the requested data. This represents an ongoing failure to enforce GDPR compliance even in companies operating entirely within EU member states.
