Moving my FC over to it from the ZOHD Dart XL, since I want a rudder.

I saw this lot on marketplace yesterday with only 1 photo but I could see 2 of the chassis so I jumped on it. All told there are 6 chassis in various states of dress 40ish motors, 3 pistol transmitters, 8 or more twin stick transmitters, receivers, servos, only 1 or 2 speed controllers, 1 body, and a bunch of other stuff. Tomorrow if I have time I will start to organize, catalog and test everything.     

What advice and/or product recommendations would you give a beginner? What websites do you buy your parts from? What software do you use?

This hobby is relatively niche so I've avoided making all the sub communities for now. Please post anything you'd like to share regarding radio controlled (RC) hobby. Here's hoping you get more stick/drive time than repair/wrench time! Not that wrenchin' can't be just as fun!
