1 - Be kind and helpful

2 - Go over the section Ways To Identify Songs Before Posting in the guidelines

3 - Use a descriptive title

4 - When describing a melody with words (“la la”/“dun dun”/etc.) or with musical notes/chords please also try to record yourself on Vocaroo / SpeakPipe or recreate the melody on OnlineSequencer (click the cloud “Save” button next to the zoom) / MusicLab (click “Save”)

5 - When posting: If you mention a source or a similar song please link to them, and use public sources. But no piracy.

6 - When posting: Use timestamped links when relevant/possible. Here’s an explanation for YouTube

7 - When answering with a link, add the artist/title of the song

8 - Add an NSFW tag or warning when posting such content.

9 - Don’t post content that’s disturbing/NSFL, hateful/mean-spirited, insensitive, etc.

10 - When needed please warn about loud volume, flashing lights/imagery, etc.

11 - Don’t post the same question more than once every 10 days.

12 - No requests for locating/downloading music.

13 - Once solved, please edit your post to add “[Solved]” to the title (if possible) or the top of the body, and thank the person/s who helped you

14 - Don’t delete your post after someone answers it.
