I hadn't heard from these Nashville folks for a long time after their promising demo in 2019. Well, they're back now and their sound's more furious than ever, brewing up a perfect storm of garage-infused hardcore punk with hints of, say, Acrylics, early Electric Chair, Launcher, Liquid Assets, Mystic Inane, Cement Shoes and Crisis Man being just a few of the things that pop into my head at first glance.
What a record... Chaos Masked As Order and Divine Abysmal End are instant hits.
So me and my old man are taking my 4 yr old Lil sister to see a circle jerks/descendents/adolescents show pretty soon. I'm most looking forward to seeing the adolescents set. I grew up on punk. Thanks to my father. The first show he took me to was circle jerks when I was about 13 or so. We're just passing the gift along I guess. (:

While not in line with the usual catalog of the label, it really is a nice blend of darkish death metal, crust and hardcore. Coupled with great artwork and Kurt Ballou's polish - the record really is a full package. ##### [No Time - You'll Get Yours LP](https://notimepgh.bandcamp.com/album/youll-get-yours-lp) (ffo: slower Snapshot, The Flex, Violent Reaction) I wish this band was less obscure and managed to record more than the LP and couple of singles. A very in-your-face-fuck-the-government-church-and-you record. It's fast. And simple. #### [Arkangel – Prayers Upon Deaf Ears](https://knivesoutrecords.bandcamp.com/album/prayers-upon-deaf-ears) (ffo: H8000) Technically not a H8000 band, but the aesthetically and lyrically it's indistinguishable from bands like Congress or Liar. I somehow managed to miss it in it's prime time.
