Personally, I think a dungeon crawling ARPG is the right way to go for AV. I'm not so set on the game being an exact replica of tabletop play, there are other APs that are better suited to that.

As a Survivors-style game, it's really trying to do something different. Vampire Survivors was pretty enjoyable but nothing like what's played at the table. Seems like they're using feats and spells as the connecting strand to Pathfinder, kind of like how Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults makes an action RPG hew closer to the table experience by emphasizing teamwork. What do you think?
