It's amazing that scoring multiple own goals doesn't get you subbed.
*...because it cannot be contained within a mere megathread.* At 15:58 GMT today, an ["Official Career Deep Dive" for EAFC 24](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hasHXEsG_UM) will be premiering on the EA Sports FC YouTube channel. What will be announced today? What are you hoping to see? Will you be able to auto sim through training? Will you still have the Sword of Damocles hanging over you all season if don't reach the last 16 of your domestic cup? Will you still be expected to get a 9.0 match rating every game to avoid losing the favour of your manager? Will you still be expected to score or assist in every game, even as a DM? Will shopping items and investments actually be worthwhile? Will the regens in the free agency still be so cheap you can create a UCL team in a day? *Will France still pump out wonderkids at an alarming rate?* There's plenty of time for griping. We shall await the video!
This has been set up to share experiences with player and manager career modes on FIFA titles, along with updates on career mode in EA Sports FC 24 as they become available. Obviously, the inspiration for this has been drawn from the great [r/FifaCareers](https://www.reddit.com/r/FifaCareers/) community. I hope we can build something similar here. With the [Career Deep Dive video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hasHXEsG_UM) premiering on the EA Sports YouTube channel at 15:58 GMT today, I figured this is a good time to get started. I must admit at the top of the show that I'm a real cynical bastard when it comes to career mode on FIFA, but that sure as 'eck hasn't stopped me playing it to death each year. !easfc_careers@feddit.ukA community to revel, discuss and complain about all the weird and wonderful things that happen in player and manager career modes for the FIFA game series. This is also a space to share updates/announcements on career modes for the upcoming EA Sports FC 24 title.
