If you're looking for a fun, adrenaline-pumping escape filled with beautiful women, exotic locales, and over-the-top action, "Hard Hunted" delivers the goods. This Andy Sidaris classic doesn't take itself too seriously, embracing its B-movie roots with a tongue-in-cheek attitude and plenty of eye candy. The plot follows a group of undercover agents on a mission to recover a stolen nuclear trigger hidden inside a jade Buddha. The film features plenty of gunfights, explosions, and chase scenes, all set against the stunning backdrop of Hawaii. The cast is charismatic, with Dona Speir and Roberta Vasquez leading the charge as capable and alluring action heroines. While the acting and dialogue might not win any awards, "Hard Hunted" more than makes up for it with its sheer entertainment value. This could be hands down the greatest B movie of all time. Coming from genre director Andy Sidaris and starring Playboy Playmates Dona Speir and Hope Marie Carlton, Hard Ticket to Hawaii may be your next bad movie night adventure. It may be full of cheesy acting and some ridiculous plot points, but the beautiful ladies, gun fights, and explosions make it something to remember. Donna and Taryn posing as cargo pilots operating from the island of Molaki stumble upon a shipping of diamonds meant for the drug lord known as Seth Romero (Rodrigo Obregon). Quickly they are attacked by Seth’s goons and have to meet up with other members of “The Agency” to team up to take down the drug lord and seek to avenge Molaki cops that stumbled onto the grow operation. As the second part of Sidaris’s Bullets, Bombs, and Babes series of movies, this is a vast improvement over the previous film Malibu Express. Partly due to the introduction of Speir and Carlton, their acting is on the shaky side but there is a sense that they are having fun making it. Several other series regulars make their debut as well, such as Obregon who acted in 10 of Sidaris’s outings as well as a stunning performance in the Vince Murdocco starring L.A. Wars. Cynthia Brimhall as Edy Stark starred in 6 Sidaris films as well as being involved in the soundtrack of several as well. As with all the other entries in this series, there is no shortage of fairly impressive explosions, passable gun fights, and of course, stacked blondes. The movie for a low-budget affair makes great use of its filming location and really knowing where they needed to spend the budget. (I mean this isn’t exactly John Wick after all.) The soundtrack is very catchy. Catchy enough that it was released on vinyl by Enjoy The Ride Records and is also available to stream on most platforms. If you are a fan of so bad they are good movies, this is probably right up your alley. It has many laugh-out-loud moments that make it a great group watching experience. Violent Panic: The Big Crash (1976) Takashi is a bank robber who wants to pull off one last heist with his partner and retire to Brazil, until everything goes wrong. The first hour or so is full of bizarre and/or angry perverts with no obvious connection -- a disheveled guy obsessed with Takashi's bean-cooking girlfriend, a mechanic who keeps keying a customer's car, horny cops, etc. The last 20 or so minutes is one of the most gloriously chaotic over-the-top car chase rampages ever committed to film, with 20+ people, including police, bystanders, a tow truck, a broadcast van, a fire engine, and a motorcycle gang.
