> Here’s a full start to finish ASMR version of a commission for Foxtrot Uniform — Reconstructing an original pair of ’85 Metallic Blues and reconstructing them into the ultra rare Metallic Purple color-way. > > Cleaning and conditioning the leather while maintaining the 37 year “patina”. I replaced old liners, foam, collars, swooshes and tongue. I was unable to reuse the original tongues and collar liners because of wear, as originally planned. > In this video I make a restoration of a family member's vintage Certina watch. This watch has passed through 3 generations! A son bought it for his dads 60th birthday during the 1960s but eventually inherited it. The son is 90 years old today and gave it to his 59 year old son. > I think this watch has been serviced before but it might be 50 years ago or something, the mainspring looked quite good so I kept that one. > After the restoration the watch runs around +/- 10 seconds per day.
