I'll concede that point, I spend most of my time on Indies these days. Maybe it'd be more accurate to say that mainstream gaming has devolved into mass produced slurry in a lot of places. Not all, but it's enough to feel kind of gross.
I'm kind of sick of being into tech. Everything is riddled with ads and speculative investment. You have to manage your expectations so much because everything has a good likelihood of turning into garbage at a moments notice. It's just not fun anymore. I know I'm probably a bit nostalgia blinded, but I miss the mid-late 2000s and early 2010s so much. Games were new and interesting, tech was moving at a lightning fast pace, things were fun. I know it's more complicated than that, and there are reasons things are how they are, but fuck man. Anyway, off my chest.

Grew up with FPS games, but also have a few hundred hours on Dota 2. So far I find the movement much more intuitive than Dota ever was, and the community is far more good natured at this point as well. Loving it so far.

Monday night combat and it's sequel were around as well, but it's been dead for years as well

That's pretty much the main thing, through they keep trying to slip shit it like the recall function, ads in new places. They also had some real trouble with the new internal CPU management, not sure where that is these days.
Honestly I'm tired of Microsoft pulling this shit. Personally I can take a bad OS launch or needing a little more maintaince on my PC, but I don't want to fight them anymore for control of my own hardware.

Australia had a bit of an old fart classification board. It's gotten a lot better in recent years, especially after the R18 rating was introduced. It was pretty dumb for a while though I agree.

Good fucking luck, the hardware will likely be a 2022 tablet if the switch is anything to go off of. Considering as well the console will likely have similar architecture, and switch emulators already exist, I'd give it about 3 months.

Depends on the person. A lot of the time patience and understanding is a huge thing. It may seem small, but when the whole world seems like it's hellbent on misunderstanding you, and taking you in bad faith, it can make a huge difference.

Assuming you want an actual answer, supply lines and distribution. We didn't get the index for ages either until EB Games took on the distribution.

While this is good and I support that focus, aren't we kinda getting towards it being a PC at this point? Hell just open it up a little, allow community development, and I'd buy the fuck out of it.

Persona 3 DLC.
Not so much stuck, more the game is just so dry. I like what story is there, and the gameplay is good, but 95% of it is the same dungeon crawling. While I like the dungeon crawling, it really does need the social element persona games usually have to balance it out and provide some downtime.

Yeah grey talon is a magic nuker, but you expect bullet damage or something if you've not really played much until then. I also fell into that trap.
Paradox is also my jam, good taste

Nah it got banned from the network when it started inserting ads into my YouTube feed that I already pay for.

Looks like a great run my dude, good job!
Would recommend toning down the wood use on walls/floors, at least in the long term. Have personally had a large base turn into what I can only describe as a hell furnace. Shit gets toasty.
